Online IT Pty Ltd is an Australian-owned managed IT services business with its head office at Grosvenor Place, Level 15, 225 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. References to "Online IT", "we", "us" or "our" mean Online IT Pty Ltd.
This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to anyone whose personal information we hold, including website visitors, prospective clients, clients, client end-users, contractors and job applicants.

- Information you provide through our website, including via enquiry forms and downloads

Some of the third parties we use store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas providers handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We store personal information in cloud services and on systems we manage. We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards reasonably appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. These include role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and regular review of our security posture.
7. How long we keep it
We retain personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required to meet legal, tax, contractual or regulatory obligations. When we no longer need it, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.

Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to:

- Request correction of personal information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading
- Make a complaint about how we handle your personal information

9. Notifiable data breaches
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to anyone whose personal information is involved, we will assess and respond to the breach in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. Where required, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Our website uses minimal cookies and may use privacy-respecting analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
